Structural and mechanical retrofitting of Pueyrredón Viejo bridge – City of Buenos Aires.

Existing drawbridge over the Riachuelo, with four sections (total length: 95 m - drawbridges: 17 m), strongly affected by a corrosive process. General structural reinforcement (steel girders and deck). Structural composition of existing steel floor beams and concrete slab through the addition of shear connectors. Retrofitting of the lifting system. Maneuver control by PLC.
